This blog came out of my experiences in business doing just about everything the hard way.  Got some stuff right, a bunch wrong and learned a ton along the way. I've reinvented myself a couple times.

One of the best pieces of advice I ever got was: find someone you truly respect doing something extremely hard, and try to help them using whatever skill you can bring to the table.

I've tried to do just that for over 25 years! I'll share what I've learned about managing people, entrepreneurship, taking risk, and creating value in a journey spanning freight logistics, venture capital, travel & leisure, sustainable energy and the power markets, supply chain management, and digital marketing.  

At the same time, from my unique vantage point in digital marketing as COO and EVP of Digital at Seer Interactive, I've seen the digital transformation, data, and automation tidal wave that will eventually come for all of us.  If you're under the age of 35, odds are, you good.  If you ain't, or you're GenX like me, well, we have some work to do:-)  I'll also share my learning from jumping in the deep end with data visualization tools like PowerBI, programming languages SQL, JavaScript, and Python, and machine learning.
